Painters' picnic on 4 June 2023 in Cernay
Le dimanche 4 juin 2023, l’Association des Peintres en Vallée de Chevreuse a organisé une journée exceptionnelle au Petit Moulin des Vaux de Cernay avec un programme pour les petits et grands, sans oublier les mamans.
Dès 11h, les peintres étaient au travail "sur le motif". Les visiteurs ont participé à la réalisation d'une grande fresque du "déjeuner sur l'herbe" tout en découvrant le travail des enfants de l'atelier d'Illustration.
A midi, le déjeuner et le pique-nique ce sont tenus tous ensemble à la bonne franquette, à table sous les tonnelles ou sur l'herbe. Les amateurs ont admiré un cortège de voitures Belle Epoque.
L'après midi les participants étaient avec les comédiens et admiré plusieurs tableaux et saynètes évoquant la vie de l'époque des peintres paysagistes.
En fin d'après-midi, petits et grands ont dansé comme autrefois, heureux dans leurs habits d'époque et joyeux de retrouver cette gaieté simple des dimanches à la campagne.
Kattinge était présente et a peint « sur le motif ».
On Sunday, June 4, 2023, the Association des Peintres en Vallée de Chevreuse organized an exceptional day at the Petit Moulin des Vaux de Cernay with a program for young and old, not to forget mothers. From 11 am, the painters were at work "on the motif". The visitors participated in the realization of a large fresco of the "lunch on the grass" while discovering the childs'work of the Illustration workshop.
At lunchtime, lunch and a picnic are held together at the table under the trees or on the grass. Fans admired a procession of Belle Epoque cars.
In the afternoon the participants were with the actors and admired several paintings and sketches evoking the life of the time of landscape painters.
In the late afternoon, young and old danced as before, happy in their period clothes and happy to find this simple cheerfulness of Sundays in the countryside.
Kattinge was present and painted «on the motif».
